Saffron sky scatter past cerulean silence
Surreptitious sunbeams steal past sentry clouds
Wheels rolling on pavement,
Heart beating in chest,
Invisible wind crying wordlessly,
Landing crows flapping cacophonously,
Some cawing, others mute
I add to this broken silence
Ringing bells for the unwary
Unwarily, I ride on nature’s stage
Adding to her brief symphony of evening
